Dental Crown Downsview & North York
Over time, your tooth or teeth may become badly damaged or decayed. It is beneficial for your oral health to repair their structure, strength and function in order to restore your ability to function and to enhance your natural smile.
The dental crown is coloured to match your other teeth and is made with the intentions of mimicking you natural tooth structure while hiding any deficiencies in its appearance. It is cemented into place “capping” the damaged or discoloured tooth. These ceramic restorations are also used to protect a weak tooth from experiencing further damage.
Dental Bridge Downsview & North York
A dental bridge is permanent artificial teeth designed for individuals that are missing one or several teeth. If you have had your teeth removed, damaged or have gaps between your teeth, a dental bridge may help by restoring your beautiful smile. A dental bridge is secured on neighboring teeth of the missing tooth. Once attached, the bridge can improve teeth functionality. When a patient decides on a dental bridge, we will place a temporary bridge while the permanent bridge is being created.

We customize dentures for our patience to ensure they look and function like your natural teeth, ultimately providing you with a beautiful bright smile.
Dentures are an alternative to missing natural teeth. Dentures are removable and can be inserted by the individual wearing them at any time. Similar to natural teeth, dentures must be cleaned and maintained regularly. Keeping dentures clean can prevent the growth of bacteria from entering your mouth.
Complete Dentures
We sometimes recommend complete dentures to our patients when all of the patient’s natural teeth have been removed. Complete dentures are made of either acrylic material and are designed to look like natural teeth. Complete dentures can help improve daily natural functions such as eating and speaking.
Partial Dentures
A partial denture consists of a base that contains one or more false teeth. The partial denture may be created with a clip attachment which secures to patient’s natural teeth. Other then the initial consultation and the application of partial dentures, a few dental visits might be recommended to our patients as we may need to adjust the partial denture to ensure they fit comfortably.
Immediate Dentures
Immediate dentures have several advantages. You can have immediate dentures placed in your mouth right after one or more teeth have been removed, the patient does not need to wait for the gums to heal. With immediate dentures, there is no concern of ever being seen in public without teeth. Speaking will also be easier as your transition to dentures will be shorter, versus having to learn to speak without dentures and then re-learn to speak with dentures. Bleeding is also minimized by the placement of dentures. As the gums heal after the extraction there may be a need to reline the denture. This will all be reviewed at your consultation with one of our dentists.
